ROCO on the Go grew out of our commitment to approachable and innovative musical experiences. This unique program uses QR code technology linking to curated playlists at partner venues, taking our dynamic performances out of traditional settings and bringing them to unexpected locations. It’s about breaking down barriers, fostering a deeper connection, and weaving classical music through every part of our community, making it accessible and unforgettable for all.
Since our first installment of ROCO on the Go in 2020 at Buffalo Bayou Park, we’ve added 18 new partners at 38 locations! Cumulatively, the codes have 40,000 scans by people from all over the Greater Houston region and even multiple states and countries! This is only possible through years of generosity, and supporting high-quality recordings of concerts.
We invite you to be a part of this exciting journey with us as we relaunch ROCO on the Go at Buffalo Bayou Park with permanent installation of our QR codes at curated landmarks along the trails, creating lasting musical pathways!
