FAQ’s
Q: What does Pay What You Wish mean?
A: It means exactly what it sounds like! You set your own price when purchasing tickets to ROCO performances.
Q: How does Pay What You Wish work?
A: On the ROCO ticketing website, you will be given several options for ticket prices. You choose the price that fits your budget. From there, the process is the same as before for checkout and ticket delivery. You can also purchase tickets over the phone or at our walk-up sales at the concert. However, if the event reaches capacity in advance, we cannot offer walk-up ticket sales.
Q: Is there a minimum ticket price?
A: No! You can truly pay whatever amount you wish. If you wish to pay a price that isn’t listed online, you can do so by reserving over the phone or paying in person at our walk-up sales at the concert.
Q: Are all ROCO concerts Pay What You Wish?
A: All concerts in the In Concert and Unchambered Series are Pay What You Wish. Due to the collaborative and unique nature of our Connections Series, those concerts have fixed ticket prices. Special events such as the ROCO Revelry gala are also subject to fixed prices.
Q: What about Senior and Student ticket prices?
A: With Pay What You Wish, this model eliminates the need for a reduced price, discounts, or tiered pricing, providing an equal opportunity for patrons from any financial background. The Connections Series will still offer tiered pricing; see each performance page for details.
Q: What does the money support?
A: All money collected helps to pay our artists and support future concerts, and therefore we hope you will give to the extent that your budget will allow.
Q: How much should I pay?
A: We list a suggested ticket price for each Pay What You Wish concert, but you are welcome to choose any price level. If you are able, there is an option to add a donation to your ticket. This additional gift will help us cover the cost of a ticket for someone else and continue to offer the Pay What You Wish model for as long as possible.
Q: Why have you switched to Pay What You Wish tickets?
A: Access is one of ROCO’s core values. By giving patrons the option to name their own price, we remove the financial barrier to experience great art. We hope you will support us in this new venture!
