Be there as ROCO’s Connections series concludes May 7 at the Buffalo Bayou Park Cistern, and experience a one-of-a-kind performance in “Interwoven”—featuring the ROCO brass in a site-specific world premiere commission by Marcus Maroney!

This performance is co-presented with Buffalo Bayou Partnership and is part of Underground Sounds, a series of musical performances that highlight the remarkable natural acoustics of the Buffalo Bayou Park Cistern.

Playing off the Cistern’s unique 17-second reverberation, Marcus Maroney’s skill at weaving instrumental sounds together and juxtaposing them against each other will take you on a magical sound journey inside one of Houston’s most iconic spaces, based upon The Four Elements of Fire, Water, Earth, and Air.

Guests will have the opportunity to tour the Cistern plus enjoy the performance, which will be presented at 10:00 am, 12:00 pm, 2:00 pm, 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm.
