ROCO opens The W.T. & Louise J. Moran Foundation Connections Series with a vibrant concert featuring ROCO Principal Tuba Ali Jackson. The largest instrument in ROCO’s brass section takes center stage for an evening that celebrates rhythm, community, and the rich traditions that shape music around the world.

Hosted at Texas Southern University’s Charles P. Rhinehart Music Auditorium, the program explores the versatility of the tuba through works ranging from lyrical sonatas to spirited Caribbean-inspired music featuring steel drums. Blending classical repertoire with global influences, we invite audiences to experience the tuba in fresh and unexpected ways while highlighting the joy of musical discovery.
