Join ROCO for its annual Día de los Muertos celebration (Mexican Day of the Dead). A five-way collaboration between ROCO, Lawndale, Inprint, Musiqa, and the Houston Hispanic Forum, this year’s performance features the premiere of five new miniatures by composer Marcus Maroney. Additionally, Houston-based baritone, Timothy Jones, joins a trio of ROCO musicians performing on oboe, viola, and cello.
Come early to tour the gallery, then stay after the concert to practice conversational Spanish through Español y arte.
This project is generously funded by Mid-America Arts Alliance, the National Endowment for the Arts, the Windgate Charitable Foundation, Inc., and the state arts agencies of Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Texas.
