Following the most recent public health recommendations, we have made the decision to cancel our upcoming ROCO In Concert performance, Eye of the World, on May 2. ROCO’s In Concert series concludes May 2, 2020 with “Eye of the World”, conducted by Shi-Yeon Sung, who is making her ROCO debut. Featured pieces include the premiere of a duo concertante for flute and viola d’amore by Marcus Maroney, written for ROCO husband and wife musicians Matthew Dane and Christina Jennings, as well as Mussorgsky’s “Pictures at an Exhibition” and Milhaud’s “La création do monde”.
ROCOrooters is available during all of ROCO’s In Concert performances at The Church of St. John the Divine, and offers up to 6 hours of childcare under the supervision of certified and bonded childcare professionals. A night out for you, and music education and childcare for kids! Cost is $35 per child, and ages 2 months to 10 years are welcome.
