ROCO’s 2009-2010 Season Opener featured guest conductor, Joel Smirnoff, and ROCO concertmaster, Brian Lewis, performing the much-beloved Mendelssohn Violin Concerto in E minor. Also on the program were Ibert’s Escales, Haydn’s Symphony No. 96, and Alberto Ginastera’s Variaciones Concertantes for Chamber Orchestra.
