ROCO’s Unchambered series closed on April 6, 2019 at MATCH with the ROCO Brass Quintet performing Chase Sequence, James Stephenson’s work where the players imitate one another musically, each one trying to “catch up” with the other. Rounding out the program were works for quintet by Reena Esmail and Anthony DiLorenzo. The concert was performed by ROCO musicians George Chase (trumpet and curator), Jason Adams (trumpet), Gavin Reed (French horn), Thomas Hultén (trombone), and Jared Lantzy (bass trombone).
