ROCO’s principal flute, Brook Ferguson, is featured on “Force of Nature”. The December 8 concert showcases nature-themed music for flute, oboe, cello, and piano, including George Crumb’s Vox Balaenae (Voice of the Whale) for electric flute, cello and amplified piano, Michael Gandolfi’s Geppetto’s Workshop, Debussy’s Syrinx, and a new commission by Stephanie Ann Boyd – Sapien.
