The Season 13 “Unchambered” series concluded April 8, 2018, at Midtown Arts and Theater Center Houston (MATCH) with “Magical Inspirations”. ROCO violinist and concertmaster, Scott St. John, was the featured artist for this program, and was joined by clarinetist Nathan Williams and composer/ pianist Kevin Lau. In addition to Korngold’s gorgeous Much Ado About Nothing Suite, Lau created a new Disney-inspired work based on Hans Christian Andersen’s “The Nightingale”, with original illustrations commissioned from Amy Scheidegger.
