Experience Hans Christian Andersen’s classic fairytale The Nightingale in a new musical setting from ROCO for violin, clarinet, piano, and narrator, by composer Kevin Lau! Commissioned by ROCO, along with illustrations by Amy Scheidegger Ducos, music and story combine for the release of The Nightingale as an interactive children’s book, to be given free to the first 50 children attending. ROCO Concertmaster Scott St. John, Principal Clarinet Nathan Williams, and composer and pianist Kevin Lau perform, with Alecia Lawyer as narrator.
