Get in the holiday spirit with the ROCO Brass Quintet and friends in an exciting new location for our Connections series at the Czech Center Museum Houston, while enjoying a delicious Czech-inspired brunch prepared by Chef Soren Pedersen!
Delight in the sounds of holiday music – featuring traditional Czech works, Hanukkah tunes, and jazzy arrangements by ROCO’s own Jason Adams, including Duke Ellington’s Nutcracker Suite and Vince Guaraldi’s A Charlie Brown Christmas, infused with the unique humor and engaging wit for which the ROCO Brass Quintet is beloved.
Featured ROCO musicians will be George Chase, trumpet; Jason Adams, trumpet, Gavin Reed, horn, Thomas Hultén, trombone, and Ali Jackson, tuba – joined by Erik Gronfor on bass and Christina Carroll on drums.
Post-concert, Czech Center docents will be on hand for optional guided tours of the Museum’s collections.
