ROCO’s fully live-streamed 16th season continued on November 14, 2020 from The Church of St. John the Divine with “Oceans”, a nature-inspired program featuring the orchestra—conductorless! The concert featured the U.S. premiere of Stride, a new work by Anna Clyne for strings. Rounding out the program was a classic – Debussy’s paean to the sea, La Mer – as well as Coleridge-Taylor’s Nonet in F minor, a selection from Bolcom’s Ghost Rags, and a surprise piece – Piazzolla’s Histoire du Tango, but for Flute and Marimba!
