Love Notes, a free, livestreamed performance, kicks off ROCO’s Season 16 Unchambered series in a nature-inspired program of beauty, respite, and reflection, featuring flutist Rebecca Powell Garfield, oboist Spring Hill, and harpist Laurie Meister.
Works will include Hovhaness’s picturesque The Garden of Adonis and Delibes’s iconic Flower Duet from his opera Lakme, as well as music by contemporary composers, including a world premiere from Karim Al-Zand, broadcast live from Nancy Littlejohn Fine Art without an in-person audience.
ROCOrooters In The Cloud is available in conjunction with all of ROCO’s In Concert and Unchambered performances during the 2020-2021 season. The program includes free, downloadable materials so the whole family can enjoy the concerts together, and an interactive follow-up is presented each following Saturday.
